Star Magic offers drama, dance, voice and conversational Tagalog classes.
Star Magic is back with an online workshop in 2021.
On their social media accounts, Star Magic announced the opening of acting classes for children, adolescents and adults. In addition to the theater workshops, they will also offer voice, dance and conversation workshops in Tagalog.
“There is no pandemic, no closure, no containment that will prevent an artist from growing up, from learning in the performing arts. We will always find innovative ways to reach people in terms of training in constantly changing times, ”said Rahyan Carlos, Star Magic Artist Training and Workshop Manager, during the virtual press conference. April 14.
This year’s workshop marks the second year that Star Magic has had to run online classes. “In April 2020, after a month of intensive study, audit of courses abroad and transport of modules online with my teachers, we resumed training for theater, dance, voice and Conversational Tagalog via Zoom. And it worked, ”he said.
While admitting that online courses are difficult, Principal Rahyan said they aim to provide the best learning experience for all participants. An orientation will take place to discuss the rules, regulations, requirements and student expectations for the workshops and there will also be climactic activities for each class at the end of the workshop.
Nesh Janiola, coach for the dance workshop, said: “I know it’s very different from dancing in person, but we make sure we bring in the same energy as if we were in a real classroom.
“Whatever we give to the Star magic actors, we will also offer you what we train them, ”explained Direk Rahyan.
