National Cyber ââSecurity Awareness Month in October,
NBT Bank has released a series of cybersecurity webinars covering a range of trends and concerns for businesses, the company said.
The on-demand webinars have so far been exclusive to NBT Bank partners and customers, officials said.

In 2020, the Federal Trade Commission received 4.8 million identity theft and fraud reports, up 45% from 3.3 million in 2019.
The increase is mainly due to the 113% increase in identity theft complaints, according to experts.
Carnrike-Granata claims that the best defense against cybercriminals is knowledge and awareness.
Anyone who uses an internet-connected device, whether for personal or business purposes, should make it a priority to understand how cybercrime can occur and how best to protect our personal and financial information from a possible security breach.
