DUNN – Family Medical Supply in Dunn is growing and is currently looking for the best candidates to fill positions.
Central Carolina Community College, in partnership with Family Medical Supply, offers training designed to check the readiness of participants. Participants will receive a special CCCC Certificate of Completion verifying acquired skills and job readiness, develop a professional resume, and have the opportunity to submit employment applications for family medical supplies.
Option 1 is the Job Ready Bootcamp – Healthcare. For people with no previous work experience in healthcare, this bootcamp includes training in basic medical terminology, working in a healthcare office, general workplace skills (work ethic, skills in communication, motivation), basic computer skills and interview skills.
Option 2 is Bootcamp Job Ready – Essentials. This bootcamp is intended for people who have worked in healthcare before and already have the skills associated with working in a healthcare environment. Essentials training includes general workplace skills (work ethic, communication skills, motivation), basic computer skills and interview skills.
Bootcamps last a week, with the next session scheduled to start on September 13. Classroom meetings will be held at the Triangle South Enterprise Center in Dunn.
