Free online workshops on ‘advance care planning’ held in Abbotsford

3 sessions hosted by the Abbotsford Hospice Society and the Association for Healthy Aging

The Abbotsford Hospice Society and the Abbotsford Association for Healthy Aging are running a free online series called Advance Care Planning during COVID-19.

The three-part series will take place April 15, 22 and 29 in collaboration with Fraser Health.

“To live well and die well, you have to plan! reads a press release. “Now is the time to get your own house in order!” “

The sessions examine how participants can plan early to express their wishes regarding future financial, legal, health and personal care matters to avoid future problems, uncertainties or potential disputes.

Call 778-201-6650 or email [email protected] or abbycar[email protected] to register.

“It’s about having a voice, assuming your responsibilities and exercising your rights,” say the organizers.
