Digital Skills Bootcamps is a program to help individuals and businesses improve their digital capabilities and expand their future opportunities. This is very much in line with the mandate of the eSkills Malta Foundation to promote the acquisition, development and reskilling of digital skills.
The foundation is dedicated to helping people adapt, grow and thrive in revolutionary, modern workplaces in an ever-increasing world of remote working and reliance on digital technology. With this in mind, in 2019 it launched a new program to fund a new initiative: the Digital Skills Bootcamps.
The main objective of these bootcamps is to introduce young people to the joys of coding, to develop young people and adults interested in pursuing a career in coding and to improve the abilities and skills of teachers. Bootcamps also introduce teens, adults, and retirees to the development of technology, such as using the Internet to make their lives easier. In a nutshell, these digital bootcamps can apply to everyone, regardless of their professional situation.
eSkills Malta Foundation bootcamps are ideal for people who are already employed and want to develop and adapt their skills to their current position, as well as for those who are looking for a job and recognize that these additional skills will help them stand out from the crowd. crowd. .
The popularity of these funded digital skills bootcamps has grown year on year. This year, more than 15 training providers signed up to participate in this critical effort and became key players. More than 20 digital skills courses will be offered in 2022, ranging from creating ICT specialists to emerging technologies for citizens and developing teachers.
These digital skills bootcamps may be suitable for anyone who is working, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work after a break, who wants to quickly improve their skills in a specific area, move quickly into a new role, or progress in their current job.
