With the return of the UK and many families looking for engaging, fun or educational ‘home’ activities for their children with schools closed, the British Pantomime Academy has broadened its option to offer young people from 8 to 18 year olds a unique opportunity to engage with the arts, drama, language and screenwriting in their one hour classes available online.
The British Pantomime Academy Kids Masterclass Workshop is designed to introduce young people aged 8-14 or 14-18 to all elements of the theater world. The interactive online workshop offers many courses and techniques, where young people will learn about theater traditions and crafts. There are also options available for unique celebrity-led masterclasses to master skills such as ventriloquism with Britain’s Got talent finalist Steve Hewlett.
The British Pantomime Academy was founded in 2019 and offers workshops and classes for students of all ages. In 2020, these courses were taken online as the UK’s first online pantomime workshops, with a focus this year on providing young people with fun and interactive sessions to keep the magic of theater alive. when the opportunity to attend in person or attend essential classes may not be available.
