The purpose of the "Alliance of Commercial Enterprises and Education for Space - ACES" is to engage a new business model for achieving research and development (R&D) in low-earth orbit consistent with the present and future goals of the U.S. Space Program. Our objective is to create an Alliance that will aggressively pursue science, technology and commercial development programs with clearly defined roles for government, industry, and academic partners. The California Space Grant Foundation supports the partnership by providing financial management, program management and extends its 501c3 status to the partnerships philanthropic projects. As the Alliance of Commercial Enterprises and Education for Space managing partner the California Space Grant Foundation receives and distributes all gifts given to support the ACES mission and projects.
